For Sale: Electrova Nickelodeon Piano, unknown model, case only. I have a gutted Electrova Nickelodeon for sale. The case is quartered oak. This is a more early "Victorian" Style case. It originally had a nice oval shaped stained glass front window (no longer there) and electric candelabras (no longer there) on each side of the front. I have pictures of the exact complete piano which is beautiful. The brass fixture plates for the candelabras are still with the piano as well as the coin slot and the bottom and top boards. Mostly old rags and cakewalks. The piano is unrestored. I bought it 30 years ago. The previous owner cobbled up the stack and tossed it. The machine is complete with a replacement original Electrova stack out of a donor Electrova machine (took me 25 years to find it!). The original 65 note Electrova spool box and wind motor is still with it along with the lock and cancel unit. Very pretty piano from the early teens era of coin pianos with a gorgeous stained glass front design. It's quartered oak veneered. All coin gear present as well as electric motor. This is a late 1927 model in mahogany. It is complete with weight arms (reproductions from Terry Haughawout) weights and a reproduction recast bow motor yoke also from Terry Haughawout. The original converter is there. 24 original and re cut rolls still in their boxes go with the machine plus an original Mills roll chuck for playing spool-less rolls . Machine is complete and unrestored with a reiterating xylophone. It has had a new set of front doors, top and front made for it, all of quarter sawn oak. I also have patterns for the decorative triangular wood appliques that go on the 4 corners of each front door. The machine has had a set of new hammers installed also. There is a beautiful set of reproduction Eagle and corner glass pieces that go with this machine. Hard machine to find! Should be a pleasure to restore. Plays "A" rolls, 4 of which go with it. For sale is a complete Style 66 with it's beautiful stained glass front, in a mission case. This piano was made into a regular 88 note player piano by Pedals Pumpers and Rolls some time ago from an orignal gutted Electrova Style 66. The case is quartered oak veneered. The stack and spool box along with other player parts are still with it. It would make a beautiful O roll build up!! I have a replacement set of post (mission style) lamps copied from rare originals for this piano. See page 809 of the encyclopedia. Wanted: Complete Xylophone for Nelson-Wiggens Casino-X Cabinet Piano in any condition. My Nelson-Wiggens Casino-X is from around 1925 and has the spool box in the bottom with the pump. So I am looking for a complete xylophone that will fit into the top above the stack. I have 27 outlets for the Xylophone on the stack.
