This large 25-note organette was produced by the "The Tournaphone Music Company" of Worcester, Mass. with patents dating back to 1879. The Tournaphone boasts a music roll that's 13-3/4" wide, which is the largest roll of all the table-top organette's. A taller floor-standing model and an optional storage cabinet for the table-top model were also produced. The company also manufactured the smaller Auerphone and Cecelia organette's.
Unlike smaller brighter sounding organette's and roller organ's, the Tournaphone has a large reed-block/resonator which gives it a very deep mellow tone.
The organette has been completely restored inside and out and plays flawlessly. One original multi-tune roll is included.
